Step into the Shoes of Historical Tradesfolk

The PoCo Muse will be joined by living history interpreters demonstrating a variety of historical trades including blacksmithing, weaving, cobbling, and more! At one time these professions were commonplace in almost every community, but now they are seldom seen, some nearly forgotten! Our interpreters have spent years researching, replicating, and sharing their historical professions with the public. This event is free and open to the public.

Lowenstine WWII Roll of Honor

The Lowenstine WWII Roll of Honor was displayed on the courthouse square from 1943 until 1973 in commemoration of the Valparaiso citizens who contributed to the war effort during World War II. It was installed in the PoCo Muse in December 2022.
