Join us on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for the public opening of two exhibits exploring the Civil War through local stories and national imagery.
Not for Glory: Porter County and the Civil War explores the contributions of local men and women, revealing the personal motivations, local loyalties, and family relationships behind their service.
The companion exhibit, The Symbols of the Union: Civil War Envelopes from the Collection of Steven R. Shook, examines how patriotic images and political cartoons on everyday envelopes expressed wartime beliefs and stirred public emotions.
As always, general admission to PoCo Muse is free.
