Volunteers provide vital help to our small staff. Whether it’s assembling mailings, researching an artifact, or leading a guided tour, there are opportunities for everyone. Contact Quinn Albert by email at quinn@pocomuse.org or call (219) 510.1836 to learn more.
Administrative
Administrative volunteers provide various kinds of clerical assistance to the PoCo Muse staff. Volunteers who serve in this role help with general office functions such as filing, bulk mailings, data entry, and a variety of other tasks as needed.
Collections
Collections volunteers help staff organize, document, and preserve PoCo Muse artifacts in areas that are rarely made available to the public.
Docents/Guides
Docents and tour guides bring our exhibits to life for the visiting public. Special training is provided to help our volunteers become PoCo Muse experts.
Special Projects
Do you love the constant stream of programs and events provided by the PoCo Muse but don’t have the time to volunteer on a regular basis? A wide variety of one-off, project-based opportunities exist that might be the perfect way to help when it is convenient for your schedule.
